DANISH ACADEMY AWARD 2009 GOES TO DUCKLING
The Danish Film Academy gave the prize for best visual effects work 2009 to Duckling for our work on the feature film "Flame and Citron". The title refers to the code names of two of Denmarks most renowned resistance fighters and the film was directed by Ole Christian Madsen. A team of dedicated people at Duckling has been working hard to create a convincing representation of Copenhagen during WWII and we are really proud of the result!
On our website you can learn more about how we created the shots, layer by layer. To create an authentic look of the 1940s we removed modern objects, added rooftops, doves, cars, trains, people etc.
